Air Namibia and Turkish Airlines have signed a codeshare agreement that will be effective from 1 March, covering routes between Turkey and Namibia.
Under the terms of the agreement Turkish Airlines will place its code on Air Namibia flights between Windhoek and Johannesburg, and Windhoek and Frankfurt. Air Namibia will codeshare on Turkish Airlines flights from Istanbul to Johannesburg and Frankfurt.
It has also been considered that, when Air Namibia introduces a service between Windhoek and Istanbul in the future, this codeshare agreement will be expanded to include Air Namibia’s code on flights beyond Istanbul.
