Accordinng to Breaking News Travel, fastjet has announced the launch of its Swahili language website; the first of its kind in Africa.
With this site fastjet will be better able to serve the local population and improve online communication with its customers.
As Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda’s official language, over 140 million people speak Swahili in East Africa. While English remains the language of business, there are numerous popular Swahili newspapers, television and radio stations. Fastjet is currently the only scheduled airline in East Africa presenting its web content in Swahili.
