Lufthansa is hoping to make shopping above the clouds easier and more convenient for its passengers. Travellers can now reserve desired items from the in-flight shopping selection of Lufthansa WorldShop online before their flight.
The free pre-flight shopping reservation is non-binding and can be made up to four days before take-off. Passengers can inspect their pre-reserved products on-board and acquire them by paying with cash, credit card or Miles & More miles. In contrast to ordering online, in-flight shopping gives customers the chance to examine the desired products before purchasing them.
Around 180 products are on offer, ranging from technology and entertainment items to cosmetics and perfumes, as well as watches and children’s toys.
