Zambia’s largest national park, Kafue, will be more accessible thanks to the new route being launched by Proflight Zambia from 1 July.

The twice-weekly scheduled flight from Zambia’s capital, Lusaka, will cut down travelling times to Busanga Plains, in the north of the park, from a 15-hour drive to two hours by air.

Kafue National Park has a reputation as a tranquil environment with just the right touch of adventure and is home to 55 species of animals, including rare birds, big cats and elephants.

Extending to 22,400 square kilometres, the park boasts lodges and camps to cater for all budgets.

Along with Kafue, Proflight Zambia expected to add other routes to its network in the coming months.
