Following the completion of the acquisition, AHA’s portfolio of contracted boutique hotels, game lodges and lifestyle retreats will more than double, with properties spreading across South Africa and elsewhere in Africa, making it the second largest hotel and lodge management company in South Africa.
According to eprop.co.za, AHA, as part of the deal, also acquired from Three Cities Management Company a majority shareholding in the Alpine Heath Resort on the KwaZulu-Natal side of the Drakensberg, and the Greenway Woods Resort in White River Mpumalanga.
