According to Breaking News Travel, Travelport has signed a multi-year, global full content agreement with Nile Air.
Nile Air, one of Egypt’s private airlines, launched operations in 2010 and currently provides services from across Egypt to the Middle East, Gulf and Africa with a fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft configured with eight business class seats and 156 in economy.
This new agreement will enable the 67,000 Travelport-connected agencies worldwide to access fares and inventory, including web fares and ancillaries for Nile Air.
Travelport has also extended its agreement with Etihad, allowing Travelport-connected agents continued access to search, compare and book Etihad fares.
Both airlines have also signed up to participate in Travelport Rich Content and Branding, which enables airlines to present the value proposition for their products through detailing their offers, including ancillary and upgrade services.
