According to eTNW, Air Mauritius and South African Airways have strengthened their codeshare from a ‘soft block’ to a ‘free flow’.
“The arrangement paves the way for wider co-operation and collaboration between the two airlines,” said Carla da Silva, Air Mauritius Regional Manager. “This will allow for better sales opportunities through schedule co-ordination between the two airlines to maximise network opportunities.”
The agreement will cover all MK and SAA-operated flights between Mauritius and Johannesburg, whereby each airline will codeshare as a marketing carrier on the other airline’s operating flights.
