Air Seychelles and Etihad increase frequencies

Air Seychelles and Etihad Airways have announced upcoming changes to their flight schedules that will offer guests more choice and greater flexibility when travelling between Abu Dhabi (UAE) and Mahé (Seychelles).

Effective 1 December, weekly schedules will increase by two for Air Seychelles and one for Etihad, raising the combined number of weekly return flights to Abu Dhabi from 10 to 13.

The extra frequencies will provide an additional 217 weekly connections to destinations such as Beijing and Shanghai (China), Tokyo (Japan) and Seoul (South Korea). Connectivity will be maintained to and from Europe via Etihad’s hub in Abu Dhabi.

Air Seychelles commenced flights between Mahé and Abu Dhabi in March 2012, while Etihad began operations in November 2011. The carriers operate a combination of two-class Airbus A330 (18 Business Class and 236 Economy Class) and A320 (16 Business Class and 120 Economy Class) aircraft on the route.
