Wonderboom Airport, in the South African city of Pretoria, has recently been upgraded to offer facilities for an airline operator.
Airlink will operate three daily return flights between the two cities using SAA’s intellectual property, including the flight code.
Flights will depart from Wonderboom for Cape Town International Airport at 06h45 in the morning, with a second morning flight at 09h45, and an afternoon flight departing at 17h45.
Flights from Cape Town to Wonderboom depart at 06h45, 15h00 and 17h30.
For business class travellers, Airlink will offer an intra-continental (as in intra-Europe) style business class service on its 83 seater Avro RJ85 quad jet aircraft, which will be used to operate the route.
Travellers on the new service will be able to earn Voyager frequent flyer loyalty miles.
