Airlink increases capacity to Richards Bay

From 17 September, Airlink will introduce further capacity to its Johannesburg-Richards Bay service, with one of its newly-acquired 74-seater Embraer 170 E-Jet.

The first phase will be implemented on the midday flights.

From 1 October, capacity will be increased on the afternoon flights.

The E-Jet cabin layout features 2-2 abreast seating, with ample overhead bin space to accommodate carry-on items.

The midday flight departs from O.R. Tambo International Airport at 11h35, arriving in Richards Bay at 12h40, Monday to Friday and on Sundays.

The return flight departs Richards Bay at 13h10, arriving in Johannesburg at 14h15.

The afternoon flight departs Johannesburg at 15h20, arriving in Richards Bay at 16h30. The return flight departs Richards Bay at 17h00, arriving in Johannesburg at 18h05.

The 29-seat Jetstream 41 will continue to operate the early morning flight, departing from Johannesburg at 07h00 and arriving in Richards Bay at 08h15, Monday to Saturdays.

The return flight departs Richards Bay at 08h45, arriving in Johannesburg at 10h10.
