The construction of a new 1,900-delegate conference centre in Century City will provide the Cape Town precinct with additional capacity to the existing 450-seater, 5-star conference centre at African Pride Crystal Towers Hotel & Spa.
According to the Rabie Property Group, which is developing the new conference centre, the build is expected to be completed late next year.
Danny Bryer, Director of Sales, Marketing and Revenue for African Pride Hotels, has welcomed the development and says the new conference centre signals that Century City is now fully established as a business and lifestyle node for corporate meetings, conferences and exhibitions.
Century City is a suburb located 10 kilometres to the north-east of central Cape Town along the N1 highway.
