According to eTurboNews, expatriates living in Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya will have to pay increased travel visa fees to visit neighbouring countries.

The cost of a visa for expatriates has doubled, from $50 to $100, although it is now valid for six months.

Tourism stakeholders have long argued that such a visa should be given for free to expatriates holding a work or residence permit.
