Equatorial Congo to inaugurate new route

According to eTurboNews, Equatorial Congo Airlines, the national airline of the Republic of the Congo, will begin flying between its capital city of Brazzaville and Dakar (Senegal) via Bamako (Mali).

This route will run three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, departing from Brazzaville.

Until 1 June flights will be operated by a Boeing 757-200 and will have a capacity of 148 seats (16 in Business Class and 132 in Economy), after which a Boeing 737-700 (12 seats in Business Class and 112 seats in Economy) will be put into service on this route.

The airline provides services to and from Cotonou (Benin), Douala (Cameroon), Libreville (Gabon) and Kinshasa (DRC), as part of its regional network.
