Ethiopian adds flights to Cape Town and Gaborone

Ethiopian Airlines has finalised preparations to start flights to Cape Town (South Africa) and Gaborone (Botswana) on 30 June.

A Boeing 737 will service both destinations three times a week.

ET829 leaves Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 09h30 and arrives in Gaborone at 14h30. The flight continues to Cape Town at 15h20, landing in South Africa at 17h30.

Flight ET848 departs Cape Town at 20h00 and lands in Johannesburg (South Africa) at 22h10. The flight continues to Addis Ababa at 23h20, arriving at 06h30.

On Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, flight ET849 departs Ethiopia at 23h30 and arrives in Johannesburg at 04h40. The flight continues to Cape Town at 05h40, landing at 07h50.

Flight ET828 flies from Cape Town to Botswana on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 09h35, arriving in Gaborone at 11h45. It continues to Ethiopia at 12h45, landing at 19h45.
