Ethiopian Airlines has commenced daily direct flights to Shanghai, China, using its B787 Dreamliner with 24 Business Class and 246 Economy Class seats.
Shanghai is the largest city in China and the country’s economic and financial hub, with growing ties with Africa.
Flight ET684 leaves Addis Ababa at 23h30 and lands in Shanghai at 15h15 local time. The return flight departs Shanghai at 00h35 and arrives back in Addis Ababa at 06h55 the next morning.
Ethiopian has been flying to China for the past 40 years and Shanghai is its 80th international destination. With this new flight, Shanghai will be connected to 66 cities across Africa via Ethiopian’s main hub in Addis Ababa.
