Fairmont Hotels and Resorts will develop a new 270-room hotel in the Nigerian capital of Abuja.
The hotel is set to open in 2019 and will be situated in the centre of the city’s business district, 30 kilometres from Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport and close to the new international conference centre due to open in 2018.
The hotel will feature more than 2,400m2 of meeting and event space as well as spa and leisure facilities, tennis courts, a gym and outdoor swimming pools. It will also have a selection of restaurants and lounges, a boutique cafe, pool bar and two specialist restaurants.
