Low-cost carrier FlyDubai has announced that it will add three Tanzanian cities to its flight schedule. This comes just weeks before the airline commences flights to Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi (see story here).

According to eTurboNews, this latest development will substantially widen the carrier’s network across Eastern Africa, with six destinations coming on line in the space of less than three weeks.

From 16 October, the airline will offer daily flights from Dubai to Dar es Salaam (Tanzania). Two flights each will then continue to Zanzibar on Wednesdays and Sundays, and Kilimanjaro on Mondays and Fridays.
The launch fares, valid for the first month of operation, start from $399 return, including all taxes and one piece of checked baggage of 20 kilograms in Economy. A return Business Class seat will cost $1,499, including taxes and a baggage allowance of 40 kilograms.
