Jambojet adds new routes and aircraft

According to eTurboNews, Jambojet, the low-cost carrier and subsidiary of Kenya Airways, will lease a Bombardier Q400NextGen aircraft and begin serving additional domestic routes.

The airline’s present fleet of Boeing B737-300s are unable to fly to due to runway and other restrictions.

KQ’s smaller aircraft will allow Jambojet to serve more destinations in Kenya, including Lamu, Malindi and Ukunda.
