Units 1 and 2 will be for international departures and known as Terminal 1B and Terminal 1C respectively. Unit 3, for domestic flights, will be known as Terminal 1D. Unit 4 will be Terminal 1A and used for international departures and arrivals. The temporary arrivals terminal, for international arrivals, will be Terminal 1E.

The interim terminal, which is currently under construction, will be known as Terminal 2. The Greenfield terminal, also under construction, will be known as Terminal 3.

New signage will be erected on 30 June to make the transition for regular passengers easier to find their way around the airport following the new numbering system.
