Kenya Airways has transferred some of its departures from its present location in Terminal 1C at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to the new Terminal 1A.

To start with, four flights will be handled every day, but the airline will slowly move more departures over to the new terminal.

According to eTurboNews, KQ’s SkyTeam and other codeshare partner airlines will also be part of this move and passengers are advised to check with their airline and pay attention to their ticket information to ensure they make their way to the correct terminal for check-in.

The four affected flights are:
KQ 760 to Johannesburg which departs at 06h35
KQ 410 to Entebbe which departs at 08h00
KQ 480 to Dar es Salaam which departs at 08h10
KQ 762 to Johannesburg which departs at 08h35

The new terminal is expected to be fully functional early next year.
