According to Buying Business Travel, Lufthansa has been forced to cancel just under one-third of its flights yesterday (9 November) due to the ongoing strike by cabin crew.

The industrial action, which started on Friday and is scheduled to last until the end of this week (13 November), has caused Lufthansa to cancel 929 flights, including most long-haul services on Monday, from a normal schedule of 3,000 flights. The cancellations are expected to affect around 113,000 passengers.

Lufthansa’s subsidiaries including Lufthansa City Line, Germanwings, Eurowings, Austrian Airlines, Swiss and Brussels Airlines are not affected by the strike and will operate normal schedules.
