Lufthansa has increased its services between Luanda (Angola) and Frankfurt (Germany), with an additional weekly flight from the Angolan capital, using an Airbus A340-300 wide-body aircraft.
Lufthansa commenced flight operations to Luanda in April 2008, with one flight a week.
The new flight departs Luanda on Tuesdays at 23h30 and arrives in Frankfurt at 09h00. On Mondays and Fridays, Lufthansa leaves Luanda at 22h00 and lands in Germany at 07h30. The airline flies from Frankfurt to Luanda on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays at 22h05, landing in Angola at 05h30.
In addition to the three Lufthansa flights per week, group partner Brussels Airlines offers three flights per week to the Belgian capital of Brussels.
