The venue boasts an international award-winning digital audio system for spectacular sound and acoustics, as well as a high definition audio-visual system complete with large-format LED screens. The design and layout of seating on two tiers deliver unobstructed views from all positions. Access to the Sun Arena is via 16 entrances; eight on the lower level and eight on the upper tier. There are four sets of public restrooms on each tier, with each offering dedicated paraplegic facilities and child changing stations. The four VIP hospitality suites can accommodate 26 people each.

Amongst the cast of culinary personalities in this showcase are Guy Fieri of Guy’s Big Bite and Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives fame; the charismatic South African chef, radio personality and owner of the multiple award-winning Ristorante Ritrovo in Pretoria, Fortunato Mazzone; and the lead singer of South African house band Mi Casa and well known culinary artiste, Joao da Fonseca (aka J’Something). The Brew Monkey has a rustic microbrewery feel and is renowned for its selection of hunger-busting bar tins, gourmet burgers and snack boards. Etas, which is situated on the complex’s first floor is a cutting-edge tapas restaurant. The all-glass sphere of the upmarket Globe Bar is visible from the outside of the Time Square complex. There, guests can savour premium spirits in a sophisticated setting, with panoramic views of the Menlyn bustle by day and the lights by night. The Globe Bar is also home to a bespoke collection of LOUIS XIII Cognac keeps, designed exclusively for the venue.
