According to eTNW, South African low-cost carrier FlySafair has added new aircraft and upgraded its seats as it prepares to launch new domestic routes in October.

The airline will add a fifth aircraft to its fleet, a Boeing 737-400, which will cover the new East London-Durban route. It will also replace three of its Boeing 737-400s with newer generation 737-800s, increasing capacity from 165 seats to 181. The entire fleet will be refurbished with new, state-of-the-art seats.

The new seats will be used together with the increased capacity to ensure that the airline can keep its fares low.
