Carlson Rezidor will open the Radisson Blu Hotel & Residence Cape Town in late 2016. The 338-key property is the conversion of Triangle House, a 23-storey office building in the city’s Foreshore precinct. It will be the first internationally-branded hotel and residence in Cape Town and South Africa.
“Cape Town now features six hotels with 1,150 rooms in operation and under development and covers three of our four brands: Radisson Blu, Radisson Red, and Park Inn by Radisson”, said Wolfgang M. Neumann, President and CEO of Rezidor.
The Radisson Blu Hotel & Residence will be situated in the heart of Cape Town’s financial and law district, and only 500 metres from the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
The property will comprise 214 bedrooms with Radisson Blu signature services such as free high-speed internet access, and 124 apartments including a luxury penthouse on the skyscraper’s top floor. Guests will also enjoy an all-day-dining restaurant and bar, a lobby bar café and lounge, a swimming pool bar and terrace, an executive club lounge, eight meeting rooms, a gym, and underground parking.
