According to eTNW, the fuel crisis in Nigeria has come to an end, following an agreement between the striking oil marketers and the Nigerian government.

Sonja Hamman, Director of Strategic Client Management – Oil and Gas at Wings Travel Management, said that fuel was slowly being delivered to fuel stations, although it was neither immediate nor nationwide. “It will be something that we will see develop over the next 72 hours,” she said.

Airlines are receiving the A1 jet fuel, although airlines like South African Airways and Emirates are still diverting to Ghana to refuel. Operations are expected to return to normal this week.
