No visa required by Seychellois travelling to UAE

Seychellois passport holders will soon be able to travel to the United Arab Emirates without a visa, following the signing of a visa waiver agreement by the two countries.

This agreement is in addition to an agreement exempting Seychellois diplomatic and official passport holders from visa requirements when travelling to the UAE, which was signed two years ago.

All Seychelles passport holders are exempt from visas to the UAE for a period of no greater than 90 days, but all travellers must ensure that requirements set by the UAE Immigration Authority are fully met.

While Seychelles nationals may travel to the UAE without a visa, they may not work or pursue studies within the territory of the UAE without prior authorisation from the authorities concerned.

The agreement will come into effect once the internal procedures of both states are completed.
