PMR Hospitality Partners, a South African-based full-service hospitality management and advisory company, is merging with USA-based Valor Hospitality Partners.
PMR, formed in 2013, will now operate as Valor Hospitality Partners Africa.
With five properties across Africa – Spier Wine Estate, Garonga Safari Camp, The Lord Milner Hotel, Durban Club Place and De Hoek Country Hotel – PMR’s portfolio will expand with the Blaauwberg Beach Hotel, opening in Cape Town in late-2018.
The 140-room hotel and conference facility was built over a nine-year period and offers views of False Bay and Table Mountain.
Valor manages more than 40 hotel projects on four continents (North America, United Kingdom/Europe, Africa and Asia), with another 10 properties in the pipeline.
