According to Breaking Travel News, Nigeria’s new 117-room Protea Hotel Select Ikeja has opened its doors in the upmarket Lagos suburb of Ikeja.
Five kilometres from Murtala Muhammed International Airport, the hotel caters for corporate travellers with 75 Classic rooms, eight inter-leading twin bedrooms, 24 Deluxe rooms, eight suites which feature open plan lounge and dining rooms separate from the bedrooms, and two universal-accessible rooms.
All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, mini-bar fridges, satellite TVs, work stations and tea/coffee-making facilities.
Conference facilities consist of one conference room seating a maximum of 50 delegates, depending on the seating arrangements, and one small private boardroom seating a maximum of six delegates.
The hotel’s restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and has a strong focus on local and continental cuisine.
The bar is open 24 hours a day, offering a poolside menu. Room service is also available around the clock.
Other hotel facilities include a shuttle service, secure open parking, and laundry service, as well as free Wi-Fi access.
