Radisson Hotel Group has signed for the Radisson Blu Resort Mosi-oa-Tunya, Livingstone, Zambia, which is due to open by the end of 2022.
The hotel will be located on the banks of the Zambezi River, in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, 5km south of the city of Livingstone, 4km north-west of the Victoria Falls, and 15 minutes from Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport.
The hotel will be constructed and operated with the greatest respect to its close proximity of the natural wonders and aims to obtain the EDGE green building certification as well sign the UNESCO Sustainable Tourism Pledge.
It will consist of a 174-room main hotel and 26 villas.
There will an all-day dining restaurant, a coffee bar, and an outdoor boma and firepit.
Facilities will include a swimming pool, spa, and sports and fitness gym. Meeting and events facilities will include a ballroom of over 5000m2, boardrooms and meeting rooms.
