In 2013 Carlson Rezidor took over the Le Vendome Hotel in Cape Town (South Africa) and undertook renovations (see story here). It recently opened the newly-branded and refurbished Radisson Blue Le Vendome.
The hotel offers 143 rooms, including nine suites with views of Lion’s Head, Signal Hill, Table Mountain or the Atlantic Ocean. Meeting and event space can accommodate up to 220 people and is divisible into three separate equally-sized venues. There are also two smaller boardrooms which lead to an outdoor patio.
Food and beverage options include the La Mer Restaurant and Grill, Cpoint Bar and Lounge, and the #add Restaurant and Pool cocktail lounge.
