The Radisson Hotel Group has signed 11 new hotels in Africa in the first nine months of 2019.

This brings the group’s African portfolio to almost 100 hotels and over 17,000 rooms in operation and under development across 32 African countries.

To date this year, Radisson has opened two hotels in Africa – the Radisson Blu Hotel & Conference Center, Niamey in Niger and the Radisson Blu Hotel, Algiers Hydra in Algeria.

Two more openings are scheduled before year end – the Radisson Blu Hotel & Residence Nairobi Arboretum (Kenya) in October and the Radisson Blu Hotel Casablanca (Morocco), which is scheduled to open in November.

In addition to the portfolio of six hotels signed in Egypt earlier this year, the remaining new hotel deals include the Radisson RED Johannesburg Rosebank, South Africa; the Radisson Hotel La Baie d’Alger Algiers, Algeria; the Radisson Blu Hotel Antananarivo Waterfront, the Radisson Hotel Antananarivo Waterfront, and the Radisson Serviced Apartments Antananarivo City Centre in Madagascar.
