Courtyard Hotel Rosebank has refurbished its bedrooms and reopened at the beginning of the year to accommodate its first group of guests since its temporary suspension of services at the start of lockdown. With fresh furniture, furnishings and air-conditioning units, the hotel is keen to welcome back guests.

The 83-room Courtyard Hotel Rosebank hotel has a choice of studio, one- and two-bedroom units and offers conference facilities for up to 40 people usually and 20 during lockdown, and an eight-seater boardroom that can now accommodate four people socially distanced. The grounds include a swimming pool surrounded by gardens. The restaurant and Club Lounge ensure all meals are comfortably catered for on site. As with all City Lodge Hotel Group properties, free fast and reliable wi-fi is offered as well as laundry services and secure parking.

Courtyard Hotel Rosebank is designed in such a way that guests are able to access their rooms directly from outside and do not have to pass through the relatively confined indoor spaces such as shared lobby or corridors, making it ideal for social distancing.

Rooms feature a kitchenette with fridge, microwave and coffee machine (personal shopping service is offered); iron and ironing board; large electronic safe; TV with selected DStv channels and radio stations; and private access. Selected rooms designed for the physically disabled.

Lindiwe Sangweni-Siddo, Chief Operating Officer at City Lodge Hotel Group, says, “As we reopen our hotels in a phased approach based on demand, we are keen to ensure returning business and leisure guests are offered a wow experience. We have done a lot of work on enhancing the Courtyard Hotel brand offering prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and resulting lockdown, and this refurbishment ensures this property, ideally located in the heart of the Rosebank business and leisure node, remains a competitive, affordably priced accommodation option.”
