According to RwandAir, there has been no confirmed or suspected cases of Ebola in Rwanda.
The Rwandan Ministry of Health is closely monitoring the situation and several measures have been established, including raising awareness among travellers, flights attendants, staff at airports and border ports, as well as educating and sensitising the general population on prevention, symptoms and mode of transmission of Ebola.
“RwandAir wants to reassure all travellers and partners that we haven’t had an affected person or anyone suspected of being sick on any of our planes,” added the CEO of RwandAir, John Mirenge.
