SAA resumes flights to Douala

South African Airways has resumed flights to Douala International Airport in Cameroon following the re-opening of the airport effective 21 March.

The re-opening of Douala’s airport for scheduled passenger operations has been confirmed by the Civil Aviation Authority of Cameroon.

SAA’s four weekly flights from Johannesburg to Libreville (Gabon) and onwards to Douala will operate as per the normal schedule to Douala after operations were rerouted during the Douala airport closure time to Yaoundé.

Flight SA086 departs Johannesburg at 14h50 and arrives in Libreville at 18h40. The onward flight leaves Gabon at 19h25 and lands in Douala at 20h20.

Flight SA087 leaves Douala at 21h20 and arrives in Libreville at 22h15. The flight then leaves Gabon at 23h30 and arrives in South Africa at 05h00 the following morning.
