Ethiopian Airlines is introducing a platinum tier level to its frequent flyer loyalty programme, ShebaMiles.
The platinum tier will offer extra benefits to frequent flyers that accrue 75,000 status miles or 60 qualifying segments within one calendar year (1 Jan to 31 Dec).
Benefits include a dedicated hotline service, personalized assistance for departing Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, three complimentary upgrades within the platinum tier validity, a guaranteed seat up to 24 hours before departure in the highest booking class, 100% tier bonus miles and extra baggage allowance on Ethiopian-operated flights. These are in addition to the benefits enjoyed by Gold tier members.
Ethiopian has recently re-designed its ShebaMiles web page to improve the online experience in terms of ease of use, data quality and better account management control through self-service options. Customers flying on Ethiopian or the Star Alliance network worldwide can access membership privileges on www.ethiopianairlines.com.
