Sun International and Domba Empowerment Corporation have expansion plans for Sun Meropa.
The $5.2 million development is scheduled for completion in August 2017.
The investment forms part of the company’s commitment to the City of Polokwane and the Limpopo Gambling Board.
The hotel will cater to business and leisure travellers and offer 60 rooms, 54 of which will be standard rooms, while the remaining six will be suites.
The Sun Meropa complex features a number of restaurants and a large casino with 417 slot machines and 17 tables, including classics such as Roulette, Blackjack and Poker.
