The Swaziland Tourism Authority has unveiled plans for the Swaziland International Convention Centre & 5-Star Hotel, as it seeks to become a major MICE player.

The conference centre is expected to offer space for up to 4,500 delegates, a trade centre for exhibitions, a secure chamber room to accommodate 53 heads of state, a banqueting hall for up to 3,500 guests, a 1,500-seat theatre, VVIP holding rooms, and top quality restaurant facilities. The plan also includes a 5-star, 500-room hotel, built in stages, which will be linked to the venue.

Dates for the launch of Swaziland’s ICC, to be located in  the tourism hub of Ezulwini, have not yet been finalised.
