According to Hospitality Net, Swiss International Hotels & Resorts has signed a hotel management agreement with the owning company of the Villa Portofino hotel in Kigali (Rwanda).
The hotel, which opened 15 months ago, will undergo re-branding and training initiatives between March and May, and will be renamed the Swiss International Villa Portofino Kigali.
The property is a 51-room upscale hotel located in Kigali’s Nyarutarama district, close to government offices, diplomatic missions, NGO offices and the new Kigali Convention Centre.
The hotel will offer a Swiss Café Restaurant & Lounge, a TED & Co Bar & Lounge, a large Eventives centre for meetings and events, a swimming pool, spa and gym.
