According to the Taj Cape Town, their guests can now surf, stream and work on the fastest hotel internet wi-fi connection in the City of Cape Town, thanks to an upgrade to a 500Mbps fibre line, which was completed this year.
The lightning-fast connection will be available throughout the hotel’s rooms, restaurants, conference rooms and public areas, and offers guests uncapped and unshaped access, without additional fees.
The increased connectivity speed will also facilitate bandwidth-heavy 4K video calls, allowing travelling workers to share information, display merchandise, demonstrate in-room technical models, multimedia presentations, and visual effects in real-life detail.
