The Capital Hotels and Apartments is bucking the COVID-19 doom and gloom by opening one completely new hotel and a completely refurbished hotel back into the market.
The Capital Trilogy is an extension of Pretoria’s The Capital Menlyn Maine and features 70 studios and apartments for Pretoria’s growing extended-stay market. As demand grows, The Capital Trilogy expects to add more studios and apartments to its portfolio in the building.
The hotel group has also opened the refurbished The Capital Empire in Sandton after a R15 million makeover, upgrading the group’s first custom build with a modern and contemporary look and feel.
The popular restaurant and all other public areas, including the reception, conference rooms and meeting spaces have all been rejuvenated, while all the soft furnishings in studio apartments and suites have been replaced with elegant and sophisticated upgrades.
Hotel management included carpeted floors and acoustic doors in response to requests from guests at The Capital Empire.
The group has also adapted its conferencing offerings at all its hotels, ensuring that all appropriate safety protocols are in place, and that event organisers can remain confident that delegates can achieve all the powerful potential of face to face events, with Level 2 guidelines in mind.
