United Flying Dreamliner again

United Airlines is once again operating Boeing 787 commercial flights from the airline’s hub in Houston. United will add more Dreamliner flights domestically from Houston and will launch international 787 service on its Denver-Tokyo route in this month.

Routes including Houston-London, Los Angeles-Tokyo, Los Angeles-Shanghai and Houston-Lagos will also be serviced by 787s later this year. After a refurbishment to premium cabins, the airline now offers 180-degree flat-bed seats and personal on-demand entertainment on scheduled, long-haul international flights from New York.

It has outfitted 182 international aircraft with new United Global First and United BusinessFirst cabins. There are also plans afoot for a $150 million redesign of the airline’s Terminal C check-in facilities at Newark Liberty.
