From July, passengers arriving on the daily Virgin Atlantic flight from London Heathrow to O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa will be able to phone home for free, while they wait for their luggage to arrive.
Virgin Mobile has teamed up with Virgin Atlantic to provide the 300 daily passengers landing in Johannesburg on the London Virgin Atlantic flight, a free Virgin Mobile SIM, pre-loaded with R20 airtime and 100MB data to get talking, texting and sharing in South Africa.
Virgin Mobile promoters will be handing out information leaflets as passengers disembark from the flight and stationing their promoters and RICA agents inside the baggage claim hall.
The Virgin Mobile international call rate starts at $0.10 per minute, with international SMS costing $0.15 and international data rates from $0.10 per MB.
