According to eTurboNews, Virgin Limited Edition, Sir Richard Branson’s collection of retreats, has announced that it has reached a preliminary agreement to purchase a new property – Mont Rochelle Hotel and Mountain Vineyard in Franschhoek, a town in South Africa’s Western Cape province.
Once the final purchase proceedings have been concluded, it is suspected that the hotel will close for refurbishment and is expected to re-open in August.
In an area internationally renowned for its winelands and scenery, Mont Rochelle boasts a hilltop setting and private vineyard covering 39 hectares. The 22-bedroom hotel is 45 minutes from downtown Cape Town.
