Kerzner International is a developer and operator of destination resorts, casinos and luxury resorts. The group has its roots in South Africa, but the bulk of its growth and development have taken place away from the African continent, save for three of its existing 10 properties. Now it appears to be looking closely, once again, at Africa, with Kerzner International set to expose more of the African continent to its brand of luxury hospitality, including a comprehensive and unique events offering.
Kerzner International is the custodian of three distinct luxury brands: Atlantis, One&Only and Mazagan. All of the group’s resorts are located in the world’s most eye-catching locations, including the Indian Ocean, South Africa, Dubai, the Bahamas, Mexico, and Morocco. Soon that attractive list will include a few new destinations.
Over the last 18 months Kerzner International has announced the development of four new resorts – One&Only properties in Montenegro, Jeddah and Sanya in China, as well as an Atlantis in Sanya. Kerzner International will also be assuming management of the iconic Hayman Resort on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, and it will be reborn as One&Only Hayman Island in July.

One&Only Resorts

Atlantis The Palm, Dubai
Atlantis The Palm, Dubai offers the largest meet, eat and sleep facilities in the United Arab Emirates region. It has eight indoor and six outdoor venues, with 20 restaurants, bars and lounges. All groups receive unlimited complimentary access to Aquaventure, Dubai’s largest waterpark and The Lost Chambers Aquarium, which boasts 65,000 marine animals. The Atlantis Ballroom is an imposing venue and can seat up to 2,000 people. Also on-site are 14 meeting rooms, totalling 5,600m² of meeting space. Delegates also have a choice of 20 restaurants, bars and lounges, whilst the leisure activities include a dive centre, three tennis courts, two swimming pools, 1.4 kilometres of pristine beach, helicopter tours, and the ShuiQi Spa.
Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas
With 3,400 rooms and suites located in five resort towers, 18,500m² of indoor function space and 27,870m² of outdoor function space, Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas is one of the most spectacular events venues in the world. Providing unparalleled variety and customisation, this luxury resort can accommodate groups ranging in size from 10 to 2,000 rooms. Dedicated conference hosts provide concierge service to meeting planners, and there are over 21 restaurants and 19 bars and lounges, offering casual to gourmet dining experiences. Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort, an hour’s drive from the south of Casablanca, boasts an impressive, luxurious 2000m² conference centre that is fully-primed to host corporate team building events, meetings, conferences, seminars, private soirées and weddings.
