Arik introduces self-service kiosk


Arik Air has launched a self-service kiosk as well as two extra payment options.

The self-service kiosk, the first of its kind in Nigeria, allows passengers to make bookings and pay for tickets at a kiosk without human intervention. The kiosks are being rolled out across Nigeria in phases, starting with Lagos. It is currently available at Arik’s Lagos city office.

The launch of a self-service kiosk follows the introduction of two additional payment options: Global Pay and internet banking/bank branch payment (NIBSS ebills pay).

Global Pay, a product of Zenith Bank, allows Verve card, MasterCard and Visa card holders and Zenith Bank internet banking users to make payment for tickets on the airline’s mobile website.

Likewise, the internet banking and branch payment option, which went live on 2 November, enables passengers to book and pay for tickets on Arik’s website using their internet banking credentials and bank branch locations.
