Clico Boutique Hotel, Restaurant & Conferencing has received a spring makeover.
The boutique hotel in Rosebank (Johannesburg) has recently undergone a complete refurb of its function venue and one of its hotel rooms, as well as extended its restaurant offering.
The design ideas came from Merylle Legh of Align Designs and the furnishings and finishes were done by Johan Nel of Johann Nel Designs.
The function and events space, which opened in 2010, is a great venue for urban weddings, small conferences, group meetings and bespoke events.
The refurb added more stacking doors to increase the sunlight and the view of the garden-facing terrace, and adorned the walls with suspended planter boxes filled with foliage and greenery.
Clico Restaurant, launched in 2015, now has a garden terrace and bar.
All accommodation will eventually receive a fresh look, starting with Room 8, which has been given an entire makeover, from floor to wall, bed to bath.
