DB Bahn offers complimentary Wi-Fi

From 1 December, passengers travelling in First Class on Germany’s DB Bahn ICE trains can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi on 18 routes between Basel in the south and Hamburg in the north. Additional routes will come on line in the near future.

Routes

The six-day German Rail Pass has been discontinued and replaced by the German Rail Pass Flexi, which is available for three, four, five, seven and 10 days within one month. The new German Rail Pass Consecutive is valid for five, 10 and 15 consecutive days.

The City Night Line has made some changes to its routing. All overnight services from Paris (France) will end on 13 December and overnight services from Copenhagen (Denmark) end this month. Trains from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Prague (Czech Republic) and Warsaw (Poland) will be replaced by a Cologne (Germany) to Prague and Warsaw route from 14 December. The winter extension to Chur (Switzerland) on the Amsterdam/Hamburg-Zurich (Switzerland) route will end in December.
