According to Buying Business Travel, Ethiopian Airlines has announced the schedule for its new B787 Dreamliner service linking Dublin (Ireland) with Los Angeles (USA) and Addis Ababa (Ethiopia).
Starting on 20 June 2015, the airline will operate three weekly flights, which will for the first time connect Ethiopia’s capital with Dublin and LA.
Ethiopian said the timings of the flights enable business travellers “to maximise the opportunity of arriving in LA for a full day of meetings before returning home on the same day”.
On Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays, the flight will depart Addis Ababa at 23h00 and arrive in Dublin at 05h30 the following morning. The onward flight to LA leaves Dublin at 06h30 and lands at LAX at 09h30.
The return flight on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays departs LAX at 23h30 and arrives in Dublin at 18h30. The onward flight leaves Dublin at 19h30 and touches down in Addis Ababa at 06h00 the next day.
