Fancourt’s private departure lounge at George Airport in the Western Cape of South Africa has been given a facelift, to extend the hospitality experience enjoyed by guests at its two hotels, right to the point of flying out of George.
On departure from George Airport, every Fancourt hotel guest can enjoy complimentary use of the air-conditioned lounge overlooking the runway. There is a complimentary bar service offering a selection of beers, wine, soft drinks, fruit juice, sparkling and still water, in addition to hot beverages and sweet and savoury snacks. In line with the look and feel of a Fancourt lounge, the modern, revamped space offers comfortable seating, a big screen TV, and work areas with electricity points to power up electronic equipment.
To coincide with departing flight times, the Fancourt lounge is open on Mondays to Thursdays from 06h00 to 18h00; on Fridays from 06h00 to 20h00; Saturdays from 07h00 to 15h00; and on Sundays from 07h00 to 19h30.
